Educational Benefits

The AMR has been established for the Educational and Charitable benefit of the community and for the Welfare/Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. We beleive in the "Cycle of Life", but most importantly in the "Quality of life".

We try to keep at least one pair of as many brred and types of livestock as possible for our visitor's pleasure and education. Most of the AMR critters are hand tamed - read to be petted, hugged, snuggled with, learned about, worked with and enjoyed...'Pet Therapy' for all!

Everyone loves handling the variety of critters residing on the ranch. Our visitors Learn aboutr each type and breed, their care and place/purpose on a ranch or farm, and the ecosystem. We believe in the CYCLE OF LIFE and how everything is connected within it. We havbe found that children who learn to have compassion, love and respect for animals easily develop and displau these same charecteristics toward the people who touch their lives, making them better community members through out their lives.

"If you have men who will exclude any of God's Creatures
from the shelter of compassion and pity,
you will have men who will deal likewise
with their fellow men."
Saint Francis of Assisi

We believe tha every creature, human and animal alike, deserves to exist within the realm of a certain and guaranteed "Quality of Life". We Also believe in the importance of the "Circle of Life" and how, when maintained in a healthy, humane balance, it is of benefit to both mankind and the animal kingdom. The relationship and benefits of this association between man and beast is timeless. This publicly supported foundation organization shall be utilized, exclusively as a Charitable Vehicle to perpetuate these beliefs and benefits.

"Until he extends his circle of compassion
to include all living things,
man will not himself find peace."
Albert Schweitzer

Our rescues are the inspiration for our visitors to want to learn about proper animal husbandry farm/ranch managment and to get involved in further rescue operations and/or public education in the precention of cruelty (abuse and neglect).
